About Me

Hi I’m Navita, and I come from Delhi-NCR. Art has always been a way to express and give a form to all the thoughts and ideas that run ecstatically in one’s head. I too love to present my version of this sublime world through bright colours and textures. I started my artistic adventure when I was just ten years old. Back then, I painted and sketched for the pure joy of it. I soon realized that I could draw and paint anything my mind could imagine.
After completing a diploma in Fashion Design from IBS Institute, Delhi, I chose to deepen my connection with the world of art. Integrating the principles of design and aesthetics from my fashion background, I embarked on a journey to pursue my love for art with greater Vigour and commitment.

Art has always been a way for me to channel my energy and give a voice to my inner art enthusiast; hence, my paintings are a celebration of colours, shapes, and textures. Each of my paintings tells a unique story by weaving together emotions, colours and stories thus, inviting the viewer to embark on a visual journey of interpretation and imagination. Furthermore, my artistic journey is a continuous exploration, where each piece serves as a stepping stone to new discoveries and creative expressions. The evolving nature of my work allows me to push the boundaries of conventional art, experimenting with different techniques and mediums. I’m constantly experimenting with fresh techniques and materials imbuing each art work with depth and meaning. My dedication to storytelling through art ensures that every creation resonates with layers of meaning
My paintings have been exhibited at the RKG Photo Gallery during my solo show, which took place from October 12, 2023, to October 19, 2023. The show featured a collection of mediums, themes and techniques from knife art to paint pouring technique and silver coating method.
My achievements includes the exhibition of my series of three paintings at the Lokayata Art Gallery from February 2, 2024 to February 6, 2024 where all three of
my paintings found their new homes. The exhibition showcased the themes of prosperity, success and Vastu embodied by creatures like deer, owl and fish. The deer, embodying grace and gentleness, stood as a symbol of prosperity, while the owl, representing wisdom, added layers of depth to the concept of success. The fish, with its associations to abundance and fertility in Vastu, further enriched the visual tapestry of the exhibition.
I’ve had the delightful opportunity to showcase my artworks at the Lalit Hotel’s art gallery, as part of a curated exhibition by ‘Art Junction’, spanning from March 13 to April 20, 2024. The displayed paintings were sold out too. I’ve always strived to embrace fresh mediums and techniques, a commitment I upheld throughout this exhibition as well.
Apart
Apart from this, my ‘Divine Gemstone’ series of five artworks was sold during the ‘Unity in Harmony’ group show at AIFACS, which ran from 5th to 10th October 2024.
Most recently, I had the honour to exhibit a solo exhibition, “Limitless Visions” at the India Habitat Centre from 10th to 14th January of 2025. The show featured a range of artworks and mediums from a panel of wood cubes to texture work and the use of gemstones.
Apart from solo and group exhibitions which have been covered by esteemed newspapers and news channels like ‘Punjab Kesari’, ‘Dainik Bhaskar’ and ‘India Daily’ etc, my art works and I have also been associated with the ‘Tarika Hotel Industry’ as their art supplier. Along with Tarika group of hotels and my upcoming projects include being art provider for ‘The Lalit’ hotel.
My biggest inspiration comes from a canvas by Shelly Bombshell. It bears a powerful message: “Mountain top; Rock bottom will teach you lessons, mountain tops never will.” This canvas serves as a powerful reminder that the challenges and obstacles we face in life hold some of the most valuable lessons we’ll ever learn. My canvases serve the same purpose by acting as a constant source of energy and motivation to keep pushing forward, no matter how tough times get.
The shared elements between all my paintings are the use of vibrant colours and portrayal of a narrative which gets the viewer to interact with the paintings through their perspective and their unique understanding of the subject. In doing so, they foster a special relationship that engages them to the artworks.
As the audience engages with my artwork, I support my fellow artists to engage in the giving nature of the art society by visiting numerous art shows and exhibitions. Attending these exhibitions allows me to not only support my peers but also get energized with new perspective and ideas. In doing so, I not only enrich my creative thinking but also provide my admiration and encouragement to other artists, as well as the broader ecosystem that the art world is. It also fosters a creative journey that we all are a part of collectively.
Through a collection of colourful artworks showcased at various prestigious locations, my paintings and I do not just convey a narrative but provide a branch to the viewer to hang on in joy and energize themselves by engaging with the artworks through introspection. The accolades received along the way are only a simple measure as to how far the young girl has reached and how far I still have in my artistic journey to go.
Through the thoughtful manipulation of textures, I strive to tell a story that engages all my viewers and leaves a lasting experience. As I stand at the intersection of past achievements and future opportunities, I extend my warmth and gratefulness, one brushstroke at a time.                                                                                                                                                          For contact
